Most people find it embarrassing to talk about constipation, and they prefer not discussing it. Which can sometimes prove to be quite dangerous if they don’t notify anyone about it. Almost everyone in the world has experienced constipation at some point, and we know that it can be very frustrating and sometimes quite painful. Usually this problem is not very serious, but it if it lasts a considerable amount of time it can turn into a concern. But, just remember, this is not a disease were talking about, its a just a common problem with our bowel movements.
Constipation happens when your bowel movements are not as frequent as they should be. Normal frequency is relieving yourself at least once every one to two days. If you happen to go for three days without any relief, you are most likely suffering from constipation. In order to cure the problem, you should try eating foods that have a high quantity of oil.
There are several reasons why your bowel movements are not as frequent as they should be. Common reasons are that your colon has absorbed to much water, or perhaps the muscle contractions are too slow, or maybe there is a blockage of some sorts. But, these problems wouldn’t occur in the first place if you had a proper diet. If you eat lots of foods that contain fiber you can significantly lower your chances of getting constipated. Its recommended for 20-35 grams of fiber to be consumed daily.
The problem will usually cure itself after awhile, but if your constipated for over two weeks you need to call the doctor. There are several medicines he may prescribe for you that cause frequent and quick relief. So, remember to drink lots of water, and eat fiber foods to lower your chances of experiencing this embarrassing problem. Consider learning constipation relieving or toddler constipation.
